# Earn credits
> Invite friends to the Foundable waitlist with your own link. When a friend joins with it, you earn credits that never expire.
Share your own invite link with friends. When a friend joins the Foundable waitlist with it, you earn [credits](/help/glossary#credit) for Ted’s work. As the page says, “Friends who join the waitlist with your link get a gift box that moves them up the line.” Credits you earn this way never expire.
Earn credits brings friends to Foundable’s waitlist. It doesn’t add them to your foundable. To work together in your foundable, see [Invite your team](/account/team).
## Share your link
Press the gift beside the bell at the top of the screen. If you don’t see it, open the account menu and choose **Earn credits**. On a phone, tap **More**, then **Earn credits**. It’s also in **Settings**, under Billing & credits.
Under **Your invite link**, press **Copy link**. On a phone, tap **Share invite** instead.
Paste it in a message, an email or a post: wherever your friends will see it.
Friends who join with your link show up under **Friends who joined**, with what each one earned you.
## What you’ll see
The headline says how many credits a friend earns you: “Invite a friend, get” and the number. The small print sets the rules: “Each friend counts once.” Only a set number of friends a day earn you credits.
Each friend under **Friends who joined** shows what their join earned:
| What you see | What it means |

| A plus sign and a number of credits | You earned that many credits. |
| “+1 gift box” | The friend joined while you were still waiting in line, so you got a gift box that moves you up instead. |
| “No credits” | That join didn’t earn you credits. |
Sometimes the page shows one of these instead:

| **Earn credits once you’re in** | You’re still on the waitlist. “When Foundable lets your own account in, every friend who joins with your link earns you credits.” |
| **Invite rewards are paused** | “Friends who join while they’re paused won’t earn you credits. Rewards will be back soon.” |
## Where your credits go
Earned credits join the rest of your credits. In **Settings** › **Plans & credit usage**, press **View account activity**: each one shows as “Friend joined”. See [Plans and credits](/account/plans-and-credits#see-what-you-spent).
## What your friend sees
Your link opens foundable.com. While a gift comes with your link, a friend who isn’t logged in sees “A friend sent you a gift box. Join to open it and move up the line.” They join the waitlist, and Ted saves their spot in line. See [Create your account](/get-started/create-an-account).

## FAQ
No. Credits you earn from friends never expire.
Each friend counts once, and only a set number of friends a day earn you credits. The small print on the page says how many.
A friend earns you credits once, and only while rewards are on. If you were still on the waitlist when they joined, you got a gift box instead. Joins past the day’s limit don’t earn credits either.
No. It brings them to Foundable’s waitlist. To add someone to your team, use **Invite people** in **Settings** › **Team**. See [Invite your team](/account/team).
