# Log in and log out

> Log in with Google, Apple or a code we email you to get back to your foundable, and log out when you’re done.

Use the same Google account, Apple ID or email address you signed up with. There’s no password: with your email, Foundable sends you a six-digit code each time.

**1. Open the login page**

Go to [foundable.com/sign-in](https://foundable.com/sign-in), or press **Log in** on [foundable.com](https://foundable.com).

**2. Choose how you signed up**

Press **Continue with Google** or **Continue with Apple**. Or type your email under **Email** and press **Continue**.

After Google or Apple, Foundable may ask you to confirm your email with a six-digit code.

**3. Enter your code**

Type the six-digit code from your login code email. Its subject starts with the code. **Open Gmail** or **Open Outlook** opens your mail in a new tab.

Or press **Log in to Foundable** in the email. In the browser where you asked for the code, press **Continue as …** with your email. The email says how many minutes the code and the button work.

No email yet? Press **Resend code**, which may count down a few seconds first. A note says a new code is on its way, so use the code in the newest email. To use another address, press **Use a different email**.

## Check that it worked

Home opens, or your spot in line if you’re still waiting. If you opened a link to a page in Foundable before you logged in, you land on that page instead.

## Log out

Open your account menu (your initial, at the top right) and press **Log out**. On a phone, press **More**, then **Log out**. A page then says you’re logged out.

> Logging out also clears any message you typed to Ted but didn’t send, in that browser.

## If something goes wrong

> **“Your session has expired. Please log in again.”**
>
> Your session ended. Log in again with the account you signed up with.

> **“Use verification code to continue”**
>
> You opened the email’s button in another browser or device. Press **Copy code** and type it where you started, or **Sign in here instead**.
