# Can Ted answer my customers for me?

> Yes. Ted writes replies to your email, messages, comments and reviews, and on WhatsApp he can answer by himself when you let him.

What people send your business lands in one [Inbox](https://docs.foundable.com/inbox/overview.md), next to your email. Ted reads it there and writes back as your business.

## What Ted answers

* **Email.** He drafts replies from your business’s email address, signed with its name. In Run, the switch **Reply to emails** lets him answer people who write to you.
* **Messages, comments and reviews.** Messages from Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, comments from Instagram, Facebook and X, and reviews from Google Business. Connecting accounts needs an active plan, and so does drafting replies with Ted.
* **Visitors on your website.** On Pro or Max, your website can chat with visitors through [Foundable AI](https://docs.foundable.com/help/glossary.md#foundable-ai). Ask Ted to add a chat to it.

## What you decide

Ted’s email replies wait for your OK, unless you switch Run to **On its own**. His replies to messages, comments and reviews wait for the owner or an admin to send. WhatsApp is the exception: Ted answers there by himself when you ask, or in **On its own**. See [Ask first or On its own](https://docs.foundable.com/run/ask-first-or-on-its-own.md).

## Good to know

Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp take a reply only within 24 hours of the person’s last message. Comments and reviews have no time limit. Each reply Ted drafts uses [credits](https://docs.foundable.com/help/glossary.md#credit).
