# Can Ted find customers for my business?

> Yes. Ted finds businesses and people who could buy, writes to them, posts on your social accounts and drafts ads, and you decide what goes out.

Ted does this in [Run](https://docs.foundable.com/run/overview.md), pass after pass, and keeps going after you close Foundable.

## How Ted reaches people

* **Emails.** He finds real businesses and people who could buy from you, stock your products, send you customers or review you. He writes to each one at the contact address their own page publishes, from your business’s [email address](https://docs.foundable.com/inbox/email-address.md). He answers those who write back, and keeps track of who hasn’t.
* **Posts.** He writes posts with pictures for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube. Connecting your social accounts needs an active plan, and his videos need Pro or Max.
* **Ads.** He drafts ads for Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Launching an ad needs Pro or Max, and nothing spends until you launch it.

## What you decide

Run starts on **Ask first**: each email and post waits for your OK under **Needs your OK** on [Home](https://docs.foundable.com/get-started/home.md). Switch to **On its own**, and he sends and posts by himself where you allow it. To stop one kind of work, turn off its switch in Run, like **Send outreach emails**. ## What you see

Run’s **Activity** lists each step Ted takes, and you get a summary when each run ends. Home’s cards show your visitors, your sales and how your posts do. Ted can’t promise sales: what people buy depends on your offer and your market.

Your [free first run](https://docs.foundable.com/run/first-run.md) shows how he starts. He looks up your closest competitors and drafts one outreach email for your OK.
