# How much of my time does Foundable need?

> Your part is telling Ted your idea, answering his questions and approving what goes out. With On its own, he sends and posts without waiting for you.

Ted does the work himself. In [Run](https://docs.foundable.com/run/overview.md), he keeps going after you close Foundable.

## At the start

Tell Ted your idea in your own words, or let him choose one. He plans your business, names it, designs a logo, builds your website and sets up its email address. When he needs a choice or a fact from you, he asks on a card, one question at a time. See [Start your business](https://docs.foundable.com/get-started/start-your-business.md).

## Day to day

* **What waits for you.** It collects under **Needs your OK** on [Home](https://docs.foundable.com/get-started/home.md). Press **Review**, then send, approve or decline.
* **Ask first.** Run waits while something needs your OK, so your answers keep Ted moving.
* **On its own.** He sends, posts and publishes by himself where you allow it. See [Ask first or On its own](https://docs.foundable.com/run/ask-first-or-on-its-own.md).
* **Away from your desk.** [Text Ted](https://docs.foundable.com/ted/text-ted.md) from your phone, and his [Daily Updates](https://docs.foundable.com/help/glossary.md#daily-updates) email says what he did and what he needs from you.

## What always waits for you

Ted never buys a domain or launches an ad by himself: those take your press. Signing in and paying stay yours too, like connecting your social accounts and Stripe. See [What Ted does on his own](https://docs.foundable.com/ted/on-his-own.md).
