# Can Ted build a website with sign-in, bookings or a database?

> Yes. Ted builds websites with their own database, sign-in for your customers, payments and emails, like a booking system or a members area.

## What your website can have

* **A database.** It keeps what people enter, like bookings, orders or sign-ups. [Browse and change it](https://docs.foundable.com/build/database.md) in Build.
* **Sign-in.** Your customers get accounts, so each sees their own bookings or lessons. See [who signed up](https://docs.foundable.com/build/website-users.md).
* **Payments.** Checkout through your own Stripe account. Taking payments needs an active plan.
* **Emails.** Confirmations, welcomes and newsletters to your customers. These need an active plan.
* **AI.** A chat or pictures for your visitors. It runs on [Foundable AI](https://docs.foundable.com/help/glossary.md#foundable-ai) with Pro or Max, or on [your own OpenAI key](https://docs.foundable.com/build/own-openai-key.md) with any plan.
