# Add a meeting to your calendar

> Put a meeting, call or appointment on your Schedule calendar to see it beside the tasks Ted does for you.

Put a meeting, call or appointment on the calendar in Schedule. It shows beside the tasks Ted does, so you both see when you’re busy.

Ted can do this for you: ask him to put a meeting on your calendar. He looks for a free time first.

Everyone in your foundable can add, change and delete events, except **View only** teammates.

**1. Open Schedule**

On a computer or tablet, press **Schedule** (the calendar) in the top bar. On a phone, press **More**, then **Schedule**.

**2. Press the +**

It’s at the top. Or press an empty time on the **Day** or **Week** view. If you’re the owner, the New Task sheet opens: choose **Event** at its top. For admins and members, the **+** is **New event**, and it opens the New Event sheet.

**3. Name it**

Type a **Title**. If it has a place or a call link, add it under **Location or video link**.

**4. Choose when**

Under **Date & Time**, set when it **Starts** and **Ends**. A new start moves the end with it. Check the **Time Zone**.

**5. Add who it’s with**

Under **With**, put one person per line: a name, an email or both. Anything else goes under **Notes**.

**6. Save it**

Press the check mark (**Add**) at the top. It turns on once the event has a title.

## Check that it worked

The sheet closes, and the event shows on the calendar at its time. Press it to open its card, with when and where it is, who it’s with and your notes.

## Change, delete or confirm an event

Press the event to open its card. Press **Edit**, make your changes, then press the check mark (**Done**). To take it off the calendar, press **Delete Event**, then **Delete Event** again to confirm.

Ted adds events too. When the owner or an admin asks him in the chat, his event goes straight on the calendar, and its card says Ted added it.

Otherwise, like when he adds one on his own while Run is on **Ask first**, it waits for an OK. It looks faded on the calendar, with a hollow dot. The owner or an admin opens it and presses **Confirm** to keep it, or **Decline** to take it off.

## If something goes wrong

> **“Choose an end after the start.”**
>
> The end comes before the start. Pick a later end date or time.

> **“Choose a date and a time.”**
>
> A start or an end is missing its date or its time. Fill in both.

> **I don’t see the + or Edit**
>
> **View only** teammates see the calendar but can’t change it. Ask the owner or an admin to add the event, or to [change your role](https://docs.foundable.com/account/manage-your-team.md).

## FAQ

> **Does Foundable invite the people I add?**
>
> No. Schedule invites and emails nobody. Write to them from your [Inbox](https://docs.foundable.com/inbox/write-and-reply.md), or ask Ted to draft the invitation for your OK.

> **Can an event repeat, or last all day?**
>
> No. Each event happens once, with a start and an end time. For work Ted does again and again, [schedule a task](https://docs.foundable.com/schedule/new-task.md).

> **Does it show in my Google Calendar?**
>
> No. Events stay on Foundable’s calendar. When you’ve [connected](https://docs.foundable.com/account/integrations.md) Google Calendar, Ted checks it too before he picks a time.
