Privacy & security in Settings is about your data. There you can get a copy of it, delete it, and read the policies that govern it. Open Settings, then Privacy & security, in the Account group.
Settings, Privacy & security: a card to get a copy of your data or delete a foundable or your account, and a card of links to the privacy policy, terms and other legal pages.

Get a copy of your data

Email privacy@foundable.com, and the team will send you a copy. There’s no download button in the app: your copy comes by email.

Delete a foundable

To delete one business and keep your account, press Go to General next to “Delete this foundable”. Only the owner can delete a foundable. See Delete a foundable.

Delete your account

Deleting your account erases it, along with every foundable you own. It can’t be undone, and nothing can be restored.

Before you delete

Delete it

1

Open Account

Open Settings, then Account. Or, in Privacy & security, press Go to Account.
2

Press Delete account

It’s under Danger zone, at the bottom of Account.
3

Read what will happen

The window “Delete account?” lists how many foundables will be deleted and their names, “with their websites, mailboxes and data”. It also says your plan stops now, and that domains stop renewing.
4

Confirm

Type DELETE in capital letters, then press Delete account. You’ll see “Deleting…”, then “Logging out…”.

What happens when you delete your account

  • You’re logged out everywhere at once.
  • Your plan stops right away. “The rest of this billing period isn’t refunded.” The card you paid with is removed from Stripe.
  • “A domain you bought through Foundable stays registered until the year you paid for ends, then lapses.” It doesn’t renew.
  • Every foundable you own is deleted, with its website, mailbox and data. Your teammates lose access to them.
  • Foundables you joined as a teammate aren’t deleted. They stay with their owners.
  • Then your account is erased. “This can’t be undone.”
If you don’t own any foundables, the window says “You don’t own any foundables.”, and only your account is deleted. The Legal & policies card links to Foundable’s policies on foundable.com: All legal documents also lists:
