Ted does the work himself. Anything that goes out in your business’s name waits for you, unless you tell him to go ahead or let him do more in Run.

Always yours

  • Buying a domain. Ted can find a web address for you, but only you buy it: press Buy, then confirm the price. It renews each year while Auto-renew is on.
  • A WhatsApp number. Ted can ask to get your business one. Only your OK buys it, and it costs credits each month.
  • Your live website. Ted publishes your website when you ask him to. On his own, he never does: in Run, each change to your live website waits for your Approve or Deny.

Waits for your OK

Emails, newsletters, posts and changes to connected apps that Ted drafts wait in From Ted on Home, under Needs your OK. Press Review, then Approve or Decline. See Approve Ted’s work. A draft waits until you decide. Ted doesn’t send it later by himself. Replies to messages, comments and reviews wait for your OK too. On WhatsApp, Ted answers by himself when you ask him to, or in On its own when Reply to messages is on.

Done right away

  • What you tell him to do. Ask Ted, in the chat or by text, to send an email or publish a post, and he does it. The same goes for changing a setting or something in a connected app. Drafts he made on his own still wait.
  • Website controls, when you ask. Publishing, taking your website offline, and copying or deleting a website.
  • Deleting your business. Only when you, the owner, ask him to in the chat.
  • Scheduled tasks. Ted can set up a task that runs on a schedule. It shows in Schedule as “Set up by Ted”, or “Set up by Ted during your run”. What it drafts waits for you, and in On its own it can also send and post by itself.
  • His work. Ted’s work uses credits as he goes, without asking each time.

In Run: you choose how much he does alone

Run is Ted working on your business by himself, pass after pass. You pick how he runs in Run settings, under How Ted runs:
  • Ask first: each email, post and website change waits for you, and the run pauses until you decide.
  • On its own: Ted sends outreach emails and publishes posts by himself, where you allow it under Ted is allowed to. He can also take a post down. Website changes still wait for you. It needs an active plan.
Your free first run always asks first. Its emails wait for you, it publishes nothing, and you can’t pause or stop it. See Ask first or On its own to switch modes and choose what Ted may do on each channel.

See what he’s doing

  • Ted at work, at the top of Home: his live line, like “Lining up my next step…”.
  • Run’s card: where the run stands, like “Ted is working” or “Run paused”, and Ted’s activity, each step he takes.
  • Notifications: on a computer, the bell at the top right shows what’s new from Ted and the drafts waiting for your OK.
