Your website’s web address looks like yourname.foundable.app. Before your first publish, Foundable suggests a name from your foundable’s name, and adds a number if that name isn’t free. Keep it, choose another, or change it later. You need to be the owner, an admin or a member.
1

Open the Publish panel

Open your website in Build. Press Publish at the top right, or at the right of the bottom bar on a phone. Once your website is live, that button says Live or Update.
2

Open the address

While your website isn’t live, press the address. Once it’s live, press the pencil (Edit URL) next to it. If your own address, your primary domain, is live, the panel shows it instead, with no Edit URL.
3

Type a new name

Type the part before .foundable.app, then press Save. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. A name can’t start or end with a hyphen, or have two hyphens in a row.

What happens to the old address

Before your first publish, your website goes live at the name you saved. After that, your website moves to the new address, and the old one stops working. The old address stays yours, so no one else can take it. Change it again whenever you like.
Links to your old address stop working when you change it. Update any links you’ve shared, like on social media or printed cards.

Check that it worked

The panel shows your new address. Once your website is live, press the address to open your website there.

If something goes wrong

Your website can’t use this address. Type another name, then press Save. If this happens as you first publish, the panel names a free address instead: publish again to use it, or choose another name.
The name is too short or too long, or it breaks one of the rules in step 3. Change it to fit, then press Save.
You changed your address many times in a row. Wait a minute, then try again.
