When an email can’t reach someone, Foundable tells you who and why. Take that address off, or write again to the right one. You need to be the owner or an admin to take an address off or send. A member can still decline a draft.

Take off an address that can’t get email

When someone on one of Ted’s drafts can’t get email, Foundable won’t send it, and the draft says so.
1

Read why

The draft names each address it can’t go to, and why:
  • The address doesn’t work.
  • The person asked not to get these emails.
  • The mail service won’t deliver to it.
  • The address keeps turning email away for now.
2

Take it off, or decline the draft

In the Inbox, press Edit, take that address off, then press Send. Or press Decline, and nothing goes out.
Foundable keeps one list of these addresses for everyone who uses it, so it can hold an address you’ve never written to. Ted never writes to an address that’s already on it.

See why a sent email didn’t arrive

An email that went out can still miss someone. When the mail service later says so, the email’s row in Sent and its conversation mark it as not delivered. They say why: the address doesn’t exist or won’t take email, or their mail server kept refusing it or didn’t take it. Ted hears about it too. Check the address, then write again to the right one.

Check that it worked

A note in the Inbox names who it went to, and the email moves to Sent.

If something goes wrong

An address on the email is on Foundable’s list of addresses that can’t get email, so nothing went out. Take that address off, then press Send again.
The email went out, so Home and Ted’s card keep saying it’s sent. Later, the mail service said it didn’t reach someone, and the Inbox shows why.
