Not sure what to call your website? Ted suggests web addresses, domains, that fit your business, each with its price in credits. You pick one and buy it in the chat. Anyone on your team sees Ted’s names and prices. Buying needs an active plan, and only the owner or an admin can buy.
1

Ask Ted

In Settings › Domains, press Ask Ted for ideas under the search. Or, on Home, press Add your own domain in Your next steps. Build opens with a request to find a domain for your foundable in Ted’s message box. Add anything you have in mind, then send it.Or ask him in your own words in the chat, like what a name costs.
2

Look at his picks

Ted answers with a card titled Domains. His picks come first, each with its price, and the first one says “Recommended”.
3

Try other names

Type in Search any name to check your own idea. Or press an ending to try your business’s name with it. All shows every result, and the other filter shows only the less expensive names. More endings adds more choices.
4

Press the name you want

Its Buy step opens and checks the price. Back returns to the list.
5

Buy it

Press the Buy for button, which names the credits it spends. As in Settings, you agree to the Domain Holding Agreement, and the domain renews each year until you turn that off.

Check that it worked

The card says the domain is yours. A label shows how far it has come: Registering, then Connecting to your site, then Live. Once it’s live, Open site opens your website on it. Find another starts over.

If something goes wrong

Nobody can buy these names here: someone owns them, or they’re premium names. The card gathers them on this one line. Try another ending or name.
Your credits don’t cover this name. Press Upgrade plan to get more credits each month, then buy the domain with them. See Get more credits when you run out.
