Send and get email at a domain you own, like hello@yourbusiness.com, instead of foundable.app. Email on your own domain needs a paid plan. Without one, pressing Continue shows you the plans. An owner or admin sets the domain up, and only the owner moves your email there.
1

Open the Email address window

In the Inbox, press your address under the Inbox title.
2

Press Use your own domain

It’s under Sender name in the window.
3

Enter your domain

Type it in Your domain, then press Continue. Another foundable can’t already use it for email.
4

Get the domain ready

If you bought it through Foundable, Foundable adds its records for you. This usually takes a few minutes. Then press Check setup. If you bought it somewhere else, the window lists a few DNS records. Each has a type, a name and a value. Press a value to copy it. Add each record where you manage your domain, then press Check setup.
5

Move your email

When the window says your domain is ready, choose the address and the Sender name. Then press Move email. If an email is still sending, wait until it goes.
Moving deletes your old mailbox with all its mail, and throws away unsent drafts. The old address stays yours, so no one else gets its mail.
Each record says if Foundable found it yet. If the check needs more time, wait a little, then press Check setup again. Changed your mind before the move? Use a different domain starts over with another one, and Don’t use this domain for email stops. The window shows one of them. Once the move starts, let it finish.

Check that it worked

The window closes, and a note says your email moved. Your new address shows under the Inbox title.

If something goes wrong

Foundable sees the record, but it isn’t quite right. Copy its value again and correct it where you manage your domain.
Foundable couldn’t add its records to a domain you bought through it. This can happen when its email already runs somewhere else. Press Try again.
The domain can’t receive mail through Foundable. Use a subdomain of it instead, like mail.yourbusiness.com.
